Dairy Queen - Albert Lea

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly patient with our lengthy order, and even though they seemed to be short-staffed, they were very friendly. They laughed off our silly requests and went above and beyond to accommodate us. If it were possible to give six stars, we definitely would!

I had to wait a few minutes to get my food, but the cheeseburger was nice and fresh. It had that classic burger flavor that I feel has been missing from other burgers. The lady at the drive-thru was super nice. I will definitely be choosing Dairy Queen for burgers from now on!

The shakes are the best, and I mean the best! all the others have done something that is just wrong with their shakes very wrong. not every shake I expected her banana shake is brilliant and unfortunately it was not good. I'll try again, but to be honest, they have to be fresh with those who the bananas have to be, or it ruins the whole shake. please correct this thing because I love my banan shakes and they are hard to find these days.

I can see past the longer lines and waits which is countered by usually polite cashiers (assuming you can make a correctorder over the crunchy drive thru speaker accurately) However, this is a average fast food stop, but a poor DQ. They don 't participate in many franchise promotions, support app features or promos or have a full menu compared to other DQ locations. Don 't be surprised to find a list of out of stock items. All of those you 'll find out once you pull up to the order window... unless you 've been waiting in line for a while (which can be common at peak times) than you find out 5 to 10 minutes after your wait. I hope they can get it figured out but won 't count on it as I 've asked them about these concerns a year ago and was told working on it .
