Applebee's Grill - Albuquerque

Waitress was great we had burgers who were fantastic. I try to visit all places and we were in the opposite so we stopped. it was slow for a Monday, I hope this helps to bring a business to them. we're coming back!

During this visit, I checked out the bar and found the bartender to be fantastic. The service and food met my expectations, and I felt a bit more at ease than usual. Overall, I give it two thumbs up!

The waitress was clearly overwhelmed due to the short staffing, but she handled it remarkably well. Our food was served as ordered, and everything was fresh and flavorful!

I give the waitress 5 stars, the food 4 stars, and the pricing 3 stars. My main issue with Applebee's was the pricing—not even for the main meals, but for the ridiculous upcharges on the sides. I ordered the Shrimp Parm Steak, which was cooked perfectly, and requested two sides of cheesy broccoli because I wasn't in the mood for heavy starches. They charged me an extra $6 just for some broccoli with shredded cheese. Keep in mind, the dinner comes with two sides anyway, and broccoli is one of the options. Essentially, I paid $6 just for cheese. While the food was good, paying $90 for an appetizer and three meals feels excessive for a franchise restaurant. We dine at a great sushi place frequently, and our family of three doesn’t even spend that much there. I do want to commend the manager, who kindly and generously removed the upcharges after I asked about them, which I really appreciated. I would recommend this location, but just be cautious about potential extra charges on the sides.
