Bidra med feedbackWent here on a Wednesday night. There was less than a 5 minute wait. The hostess was pleasant, our server on the other hand, not so much. We sat at the grill and had a fabulous time. Our chef was amazing, entertaining engaging. I had scallops lobster. Husband had teriyaki chicken. 9 YO son had steak. All was cooked to perfection. Each entree comes with fried rice, noodles, soup, and salad. Portion sizes are huge! We also split 2 specialty sushi rolls. The rolls were fresh and tasty. The bill came to just over $100 and was worth it. Will be returning.
So overall the place was nice, friendly and accommodating staff, but too high priced in my opinion. I had the filet mignon/shrimp dinner, it came with miso soup and a salad. Of course they were generous with the 'sides ' like fried rice and noodles but I feel not so generous with the protein. A bill for two was like $85 not including tip.... Definitely not a place that you want to eat out at a few times a week, unless you have it like that!
I got to say… I love this place! It’s a go to when in Alb for sure. Their sushi is my favorite! The BMW West Texas roll. I also get the Filet mignon medium rare with rice, veggies noddles. You won’t regret it one bit. I also think it’s nice to have the chiefs cook right in front of you. They give a good amount of food as well.
First restaurant my family and I sat down in since Covid. Food is good, but not as great as it used to be. The grill went out in the middle of cooking, so my scallops were a bit chewy, but not the chefs fault.
If you love Japanese food like I do, this is the place. Sushi is really fresh, not too much rice and the best prices in town! I ordered the dinner teriyaki chicken bento box for lunch and I can’t believe how much food this is! It comes with white rice, teriyaki chicken (white chicken breast) shrimp shumai, miso soup, salad California roll (6 pieces) and shrimp and vegetable tempura! All for under 16 bucks! Definitely my new favorite place!
