Bidra med feedbackI ordered the chipotle tomato bisque which was really good. Side of homemade bread that was amazing. My fiancé ordered the Dagwood sandwich but they accidentally brought us the daily special sandwich. We didn?t say anything because he was still really pleased with the sandwich. You can tell the food is fresh and made to order.
Situated on the grounds of the Hispanic Cultural Center, the restaurant's parking lot and courtyard were adorned with stunning flowering trees. Inside, the spacious dining room boasted a high ceiling and large windows that filled the area with natural light. A charming kiva fireplace was complemented by candles and orchids, all while soft, relaxing music played in the background. We started with warm chips accompanied by four different homemade salsas. I decided to try the Chili Relleno, which in a previous restaurant had been ruined by a poor chili sauce. This version, however, was crispy and filled with wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, and cheese, served on a bed of corn and red peppers. It was perfectly crunchy, not greasy at all, and came with a fresh side salad topped with homemade dressing. My sister ordered chicken tacos, while her husband opted for a green chili cheeseburger. We all agreed these were some of the best local dishes we had ever tasted! We even had to get some food to take home with us. The dessert was a must, and we ended up ordering to-go treats. The brownie was moist, and the churros were the best I’ve ever had—soft and fluffy on the inside, coated with cinnamon sugar on the outside, and served with a light chocolate dip, all homemade. We skipped cocktails to enjoy fresh lemonade and lavender tea, both of which were fantastic. While waiting for our dessert, our wonderful server Josiah surprised us with a tasting of a chili margarita, which was subtly spiced without overwhelming the palate. It was the perfect way to celebrate my sister’s anniversary! Overall, we enjoyed a gourmet lunch at an incredibly reasonable price. I only wish I could visit more often!
I work at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, and I absolutely love this restaurant. Stephanie, the owner, is an amazing person, and everyone who works there is wonderful. The food is always great, and the green chili chicken soup is my favorite dish of all time.
As a professional wedding DJ/Host for over 23 years (PartyTime DJ and Event Services), this is one of my favorite venues for a wedding! The courtyard is beautiful and very New Mexican. The staff is very professional and takes great care of their customers and guests. A+ and 5 stars!
Delicious, fresh and beautiful presentation. The prices are not bad at all and great service. Will definitely be back : thank you!
