Bidra med feedbackWhat a refreshing experience! The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with its yellow and white décor, complemented by natural wood and an impressive display of food items and farm tools adorning the walls. The food matches the vibrant vibe, making for a delightful culinary journey. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast featuring kale and eggs, which was surprisingly delicious, and the Arizona omelette was fantastic as well. The coffee was excellent, too. I've already visited a couple of times this week, and I plan to return soon for another cup of turmeric tea, which turned out to be much better than I expected. It was genuinely refreshing!
The food is both delicious and healthy. The dishes are of high quality, and the patio is beautifully designed.
I visited this restaurant before the pandemic and ordered inside to dine outdoors. At first glance, I was really impressed with the interior design. The area behind the counter felt a bit cramped, but sitting outside with a glass of fresh juice was heavenly. I can't recall exactly what I ate, but it was delicious. The bathrooms are gender-neutral, and it was quite busy inside. I definitely plan to return for a second visit!
Upon entering, looking at the decor, the staff, and the limited menu with shockingly high prices for some items (especially for a counter service place), I couldn 't help but think Oh, great.... overpriced pretentious hipster food masquerading as gourmet healthy options. But the second I tried the food, I decided we had made an excellent choice. The food was truly gourmet, and better yet, totally unique, unlike anything we 'd ever had before, and totally delicious while being the kind of healthy that makes you feel good after eating it. Of special note is their version of pancakes. I got the Red Sonoracakes and my wife got the Supercedes. Both were off the hook fantastic and we ended up splitting both plates so we could both enjoy all the awesomeness. The smoothies were the most overpriced items, but made such perfect accompaniment to the cakes, we were completely fine with the price. We also picked up a couple desserts to take home with us. Also fantastic. We 'll be back.
When in Santa Fe please treat yourself to brunch at Modern General Feed and Seed. Let's just get right to it. The GREEN CHILE CILANTRO CORNCAKES are sublime: mild green chile, scallions, cilantro, jack cheese served with a sunny side up egg, cilantro lime crema and red chile maple syrup. Whoa. Nellie. It was the red Chile maple syrup for me. The bright and spicy maple syrup contrasted with the savory egg and corncake, crema, scallions...all melded perfectly. I've never tasted brunch quite like this. My daughter is a veggie and she ordered the Fried Morning Rice and a green juice, gah in a good way, too much delish to take in! Mom had the lemon cakes and like the rest, they were worth every penny. My son went for the breakfast biscuit sammie, which isn't your typical breakfast sandwich, oh no, this one is the granddaddy of them all. I was jealous and wish I'd ordered that until I realized oh yeah, my food is incredible as well! The space was spectacularly littered with warm sunlight and beautiful goods to touch and take home. Hands down my favorite here so far. The food is creative and the flavors are so pleasing. Vibe, variety, and a vintage feel it's worth the wait when busy. Please don't skip this one. If you have meow wolf tickets get up early enough to wait out the line and sit down for a brunch you won't soon forget!
