Resaurante Ze Maria - Alcoutim

This review is for the restaurant Ze Maria on the Tavira island.Octopus salad was ok. I had a beef steak and my wife had tuna steak. Oh my god, the amount of salt they put in the meal makes you very suspicious. Also something of a plastic nature came out of my wife's dish. Waiter did not care, couldn't care. Full of flies. Overall, Tavira needs another 5 to 10 years to get ready for tourism. Firstly they need to learn to smile and show some sort of enthusiasm about what they are doing and learn that the customer is always right within reason.

Excellent fish restaurant. Tucked away up near the railway station. We visited one lunchtime, plenty of room. Were served a plate with 8 fish of different types along with a dish of salad and some potatoes. All the fish were very well cooked and so tasty. An excellent meal. would recommend to all fish lovers
