Bidra med feedbackAmazing food and service. I highly recommend the Francesinhas sandwich. It won't disappoint.
Cute local place serving yummy food and drinks with quiet outdoor seating a few blocks off the water. Worth the short trek! On the food front, My husband And I devoured the well charred and seasoned salmon fillets (no heads, tails, or skin) served with broccoli and cauliflower and mixed veggies. The well dressed simple salad hit the spot. Cheap gin and tonics made with fresh mint the owner picked off her plants right outside the front door! Service was super friendly and accommodating can’t beat this Portuguese family’s hospitality. We learned they moved back here after 14 years in England, so the accents are fabulous too! The wife, Ida, offered to make an omelette with whatever we want. On our second trip, i dined on a well cooked mushrooms, onion, and broccoli omelette while my husband enjoyed his steak with a fried egg and sweet potato fries. Strong WiFi is another plus.
Passed it a few times since we had an apartment near by and decided to give it a go. A great atmosphere in the place, with a loot of commotion between the staff and a visitor. All in fun and made for a light-hearted evening. Staff is friendly and bubbly so you should have a good time Food was plentiful, but to the amount of salt and olive oil on the salad was way to much for my liking, but each to their own. We had chicken this evening that was well seasoned, but could have been more succulent. Thank you for a nice evening.
Hands down best Pastel de Nata in Portugal. We have friends staying above this Cafe and the pastels had just come out of the oven. Creamy but not too sweet, crisp buttery pastry . We really didn’t want anyone to know in case they sell out.
Walked past in the morning and thought we would give it a go. A very warm and friendly welcome and in English was forthcoming. We just had coffee and cake, which were both delicious. They do food all day until 21:30 and if its as good as the cake we will give that a try too. I'm glad we popped in
