Not only is the most famous restaurant in the Northwest Territories, but also one of the best fishery in the whole canada.
Food is not delicious fish was cooked with too much oil and too little salt.
This lovely bistro is run by two young women, a sommelier and a chef. A very limited menu, but always imaginative and excellent quality. An interesting wine list, with good suggestions for wine by the glass. In the evening there is a choice between a cheese plate or a meat plate or a mixture. Portions are small but exquisite, so it is not for people with enormous appetites. They hold musical evenings which are recommended. Decor very good.
A very simple menu, exceptionally executed. There was a fish, a meat or a vegetarian option. A wide variety of local wines which the waiter talked us through. Nice jazz in the background not loud enough to interfere with a meal. An all round pleasant lunch in a lovely spot.
