Bidra med feedbackIt took a while (10+ minutes) for anyone to acknowledge our table after being seated although tables seated after us had been attended to, but I expect that was a function of short staffing for servers and the near-the-bar location of our table. That said, our server was very nice and attentive. We really enjoyed our meals and drinks. The restroom needed attention (trash on floor, no paper towels in dispenser) but the manager (also very nice) said it would be addressed. I would return because the food was delicious.
Great food! Great atmosphere! Great service! Our server, Brian, was absolutely amazing (even for a Slytherin! This was our first time dining at Emmy Squared and just off this experience, it definitely won’t be the last.
The ambient noise level made it difficult to have a conversation. There was a music speaker over our table that the server kindly turned down. The pizza was great and our server was OUTSTANDING.
The food and service was wonderful on NYE at Emmy Squared. The only thing that was a little odd, disappointing about the experience was that they seemingly had run out of cups when we had been seated. Our group asked for water for the table, and ordered two pitchers of cocktails. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, but she let us know they were out of cups and it was going to be awhile. After about 10 minutes without cups, some of our group was drinking water straight from the bottle (lol). A little while after that, she herself was frustrated there were no clean cups and she brought us 6 glass coffee mugs (we were a party of 6) and that at least allowed us to drink either our cocktails OR water. We were never brought additional cups after this. Understandably, it was probably one of the biggest food nights of the year, so we were patient and we got through our meal. But just seemed really odd for a restaurant of that size in Old Town to run out of cups at 7:00 pm. Otherwise, the cheesy garlic bread was wonderful, and The Colony pizza is out of this world. I would steer clear of the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Not that they were not enjoyable, but $15 for 5 grocery store freezer aisle mozzarella sticks felt like SUCH a poor value. We thought maybe they would be jumbo mozzarella sticks or something special, but when we received them we were not happy with ourselves for ordering $5-per-stick run of the mill mozzarella.
We came from Philly to to explore Alexandria. We stumbled across Emmy Squared pizza and decided to give it a try. Pizza is one of my favorite foods and Emmy did not disappoint! The food was fresh and cooked well! We had fries, pizza and a brownie! The staff was attentive and friendly! Emmy’s has a cute quaint vibe! We connected with the manager “Miranda” and were happy that we did! Miranda is so friendly! We enjoyed our time at Emmy squared pizza!
