Sunday In Saigon - Alexandria

I had lunch at this restaurant today and ordered the pork belly bahn mi, crispy shrimp rolls, and cold shrimp salad. Everything was amazing! The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant features Americanized Vietnamese cuisine and has lovely decorations. However, I found the food to be disappointing. While it may appeal to my husband, it did not suit my taste. I ordered the Caramelized Pork Bun, Hu Tieu, and Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, but found them all lacking in flavor. The Caramelized Pork Bun was overly salty and sour, despite the tender meat. The Hu Tieu did not resemble authentic Vietnamese Hu Tieu, instead consisting of noodles with seafood and a heavy dark sauce. My husband enjoyed the Bun Bo Hue, but it did not meet my expectations.

Excellent food and service. A personal favorite! Great service and excellent experience with delicious food varieties. A favorite place to eat.

I didn't order much, but I definitely come back to try more. Good mood, easy to order and pay. For me is authentic Vietnamese food.
