Thanida Thai - Alexandria

This place is excellent. The food was actually life changing. The ambiance was absolutely ideal. Loved their gentle yet slightly groovy music choice played at the perfect volume. The pad thai was the first made with tamarind I?ve had and it was unbelievably good. The drunken noodle was such an amazing texture and flavor. Very generous portion sizes. Finally we had the mango sticky rice to seal the deal and practically died and went to heaven it was delightful.

Nice, quiet part of Old Town. Staff friendly and service was prompt and attentive. Food was awesome!

I was craving Thai food and found this restaurant in a hidden section of Old Town Alexandria. I ordered the steak salad and a Thai Tea. The steak was a little tough, but the salad was full of flavor. Overall it was a nice experience.

We?ve been coming here for years, even before they moved to their current location. Through the pandemic we continued to patronize them and always enjoyed the food. Last night we ordered take out and I was shocked at how much their prices have gone up. I get it, all prices are rising. However, my real disappointment arose when my wife asked if I picked up the correct order: the portions have been cut back so much that she assumed they were appetizers. The servings of rice

Probably the best Thai food that I 've ever had... honestly. Thanida Thai has fair prices, and their food is consistently delicious. The interior of the restaurant is a little old , but hole-in-the-wall restaurants have the BEST FOOD! If you 're looking for the best Thai food in Alexandria, look no further.
