The Sushi - Alexandria

Ashley was our server and answered all of our questions (we are not seasoned sushi eaters) and the experience was great. The food was delicious and especially the oysters.

The food here is amazing, the omasake and chef's work is mind-blowing, and the staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Best sushi we had in the DC area! her happy hour is from 5-7pm with $3 kirin ichiban and $4 classic sushi rolls. seriously good sushi. perfect date-night spot, as all customers must be 18 . jake the bartender/server is the best and I never had a better customer service. will definitely be a more common customer.

Sushi was alright, didn't really have a taste to them. The fatty tuna or the salmon didn't have the buttery taste to them. The other sashimi was ok, nothing to write home about. Presentation was nice though (sashimi deluxe 14pcs). Definitely would prefer another place for late night sushi. We also ordered the jasmine green tea old fashioned, didn't taste anything like tea or had tea flavor. Other then that, the baked mussels with scallops were really good (comes with 4 mussels)!
