Uncle C's Chicken Waffles - Alexandria

I ordered chicken and waffles along with mac and cheese, and everything was delicious. The chicken tenders were larger than I expected, and I enjoyed every bite. The mac and cheese reheated well and tasted like a classic homemade baked version. The waffle was surprisingly sweet, so I didn’t even need syrup. The only downside was that I would have preferred unsweetened tea, but they only offer sweet tea, lemonade, and soda. I can't wait to go back and I've been telling all my friends about Uncle C's!

I really enjoyed this chicken spot! The chicken was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp was also great. The seafood salad exceeded my expectations—don’t let the photos fool you! I also loved the chicken sandwich with coleslaw. The only dishes that didn’t impress me were the rice, fries, and cornbread; they were fine, but they lacked flavor and substance. The restaurant was bustling when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. Our order came out quickly and the food was fresh and piping hot. Everything was just as we requested. The staff was not only friendly, but also efficient. The chicken was outstanding! It had a wonderfully crispy exterior and was incredibly juicy on the inside. The macaroni and cheese was superb—rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The waffles were absolutely delightful as well. If you decide to try the banana pudding, make sure to get more than one serving. I had a taste and immediately went back to grab two more to take home. I left feeling very satisfied with my experience and will definitely return to dine here again soon.

What a surprise. The place use to be a Jerry?s pizza. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The waffle was fresh and potatoes where well fried not greesy. The chicken was lightly seasoned and tender. Theis well packed for take out. We will go back. You get your monies worth.

I had a hankering for southern style fried chicken and a friend recommended Uncle C's to me. Best part it's halal! The place is clean and well maintained inside and it was busy at 9 on a Saturday night. The staff are friendly although service can be abit slow. There's a wait after you order but the plus side is your food is hot and fresh. I ordered a 3 piece chicken and waffle you get to choose your pieces and with two thighs and a tender, it's honestly enough to share between two people. I alsoordered the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was amazing cheesy and delicious. The waffle was so good, fluffy and verylightly sweet and served with breakfast syrup on the side (since I took it home I used maple and it was excellent . The chickenwas crisp and hot but I had to knock a star down because it was salty. First bite you're like ok this is a lil salty midwayyou can no longer eat it and have to pull off all the skin (which is the best part! . It's a good bang for your buck and maybethey had an off day I'll have to give them another chance.
