Saltbush - Alice Springs

The menu on the website was inaccurate; the dish I wanted (beef Wangen) is no longer available. The table service was appalling, with staff that seemed completely inattentive. I requested water four times and ultimately had to flag down a waiter to get it. The dessert menu never arrived either. The service did not match the prices charged. This restaurant used to be great, but not anymore. I won’t be returning.

The prices are a bit high for a place that doesn't remove the end of the bun and doesn't refill its salt and pepper shakers.

I wasn't able to make a reservation. They told me they would call me back, but I never received a call. Later, I mentioned that I had made a reservation.

So glad that we stayed in the doubletree, we decided for the comfort in saltbush to dinner, but I would have drove all the way to the city for the incredible service, warm atmosphere, generous drinks and good eating. the personal worked as hard as I am sure that most restaurants are currently short employees. bill was our waiter and so much more we make sure we had everything we needed and participated in our departure check. his smile was infectious. if they are in alice springs, reserve them at saltbush!

Driest salmon ever… taste was good. Crepes were actually pancakes… taste wasn’t good
