Jimmy John's - Allendale

This was my first time at this restaurant and I was in a rush so I ordered ahead through the app. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly my order was ready. It was made exactly as requested and presented beautifully, showing that attention to detail was important to the staff. I didn't notice the pick-up rack right in front of me and had to ask the cashier about my order, which was my mistake. The cashier could have been a bit friendlier as he seemed annoyed when he had to point out the rack and made a rude gesture. Despite this, I had a very nice experience overall and would like to return in the future.

I ordered lunch from this restaurant and my order arrived within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the driver forgot to include the cookie I had ordered. When I contacted the restaurant, they not only gave me a refund for the missing item, but also sent another person to deliver not just 1, but 3 cookies. I appreciate their willingness to rectify the mistake and go above and beyond for a small item that cost $1.79. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

I can see why this restaurant has a 2.5 rating on Yelp. We are big fans of Jimmy John's and usually visit the Kalamazoo location. However, the Allendale store has a very low rating. We were disappointed with the lack of beef in the #2 BIG JOHN unwich. The food was rated 2 out of 5 and the service was rated 1 out of 5.

My mother's card was charged for the meal, but the restaurant insisted that the transaction didn't go through and my stepfather ended up paying with my card. After checking, we found out that the money was indeed taken from my mother's account. Instead of offering a refund, the restaurant staff claimed they didn't know what happened and said we would have to dispute the charge with our bank.

The bread was dry and tough! The service was for takeout, and the meal was a lunch option. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20.
