Bidra med feedbackI just ordered a 60th birthday cake on very short notice from the Signature line of cakes. Sweet Morsel was very kind to accommodate me and did a fantastic job. The cake was as pretty as it was super yummy (and I 'm not typically a cake-person . Will return for future orders and absolutely recommend the chocolate rasberry!
I’ve ordered from this bakery on two separate occasions. The first time was custom Winnie the Pooh Cookies for my sons second birthday. While the cookies were very cute, they were incredibly stale. We picked them up the day of the party but they were so hard they were inedible. After spending $90 on cookies that we couldn’t enjoy, I was hesitant to try them again but I really wanted to give them another chance. I ordered a small cake for a random get together but the vanilla cake was awful. It was VERY dry and dense and had little to no flavor. Their icing was way too sweet as well. Unfortunately I don’t think I can give them a third chance. For prices that are more expensive than other small business bakeries in the area I expect better.
My son purchased a small, yellow cake with chocolate icing two days ago from your location for $23.Very disappointed. I try to support small businesses, but this was just not good. The icing is a very dark, bitter chocolate that is one shade from black; which in itself is unappetizing to the eye and is not sweet at all. The texture of the cake was nice but lacked in flavor and sweetness as well. The tall, cylindrical shape of the cake is awkward and the top layer slid off the bottom layer within a few hours and my thermostat is set at 68° in my home.I understand wanting to create new items, but in my opinion, this is not a winning item.Between the two of us, we split one slice of cake and ditched the rest.I’m not requesting a refund; just for the baker to reconsider milk chocolate and a shorter and bit wider cake instead of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
I am sooo happy with how my daughters 1st birthday smash cake turned out. I reached out to them online and they got back to me right away. I sent them a picture of what I was envisioning and it turned out perfect. I am also gluten intolerant and was so happy to find so many options for me to choose from. The cupcakes are amazing. Thank you!!!
Spouse went to pick up bakery items for a gift and was told items were safe for people with Coeliac disease (can 't have wheat or gluten). Item container, specifically the peanut butter bars, were labeled made without gluten but also had a label stating May contain wheat, with no ingredient list to be found. In addition the other items, coconut balls and chocolate chip cookies had no ingredient list either. The lady I spoke to may have been correct in saying it wasn 't required in PA; however, when a call was placed to hopefully HELP the business understand how misleading this was and perhaps prevent someone from getting sick from eating their made without gluten products, the information wasn 't welcomed and was met with rudeness. Not a great way to showcase products for people who have allergies.
