Bidra med feedbackWe loved this restaurant so much that we went two nights to success! and that's just the beginning. the people who operate alma boathouse are quite pleasant. the two nights of our waitress come from the opposite and told charming layers about the restaurant and...the regale as first pictures of the area we were more than pleased to hear suggestions where to go and what to see. they were also very helpful when it came to make gluten-free decisions both for a little bite and taste. the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. these people have found out how to make delicious gluten-free fish and chips. I was amazed and totally impressed!
We had the pleasure of having dinner at the alma boathouse on October 15th, 2022. we visited the fleet launch festival and were most at the community center. a short walk and we were immersed on fish chips, praised Mac...n cheese and poutine. great service, huge fish portions and wonderful eating. b sure, eat there!
Marianne was a great waiter-friendly, personable sweater. Do not miss the seafood cahowder. it is the best in the marine! a cup is enough to share a main dish. the bowl with a rusty broth is enough for a meal. it is. **** full of seafood and not much other. we were told by marianne that it is made to order. so it is fresh and there is no doubt about when they start eating. I also had the lobster mac cheese and it was so smooth, creamy and full lobster. it's a usual choice I order. my daughter had pulled that pork. the meat was super delicate and the bbq sauce was very delicious. like a south sauce. the koleslawin was not what she would normally have on the sandwich excellent. a lot of pommes. the beans that came along were bigger than a normal size and was very tasty. they had a little hurt, but only so that they notice and not overwhelming at all. my father-in-law had the 1 piece of fish and chips. it was a big piece and he had a very difficult time to finish it, but he did. the teersauce was very good. it also tasted homemade. it was a very light teig and the fish solid and fresh. the fries were very like swiss chalet fries-crispy.
I grabbed the scalopp linguini to go to alma on my last day, and I wish I had it in my first night so I could come back! it was absolutely fantastic. I called about 10 minutes to my order before I made it to the restaurant. I waited five minutes or so before it was finished. very fast service and friendly staff.
We had the muscles which were really excellent and a generous portion. I had the fishmonger with fries and it was also large portion, piping hot and delicious. Dh had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Overall delicious lunch with a local flavor and great...beer!
