Central City Tavern - Alpharetta

This is a cooler place, hidden in the bottom of the building in the interior alpharetta area. the environment was alive, but it was close to the closing time, so I'm sure it was more alive than it was when we were there. the staff was very polite and it seemed like a budding well- talented respectable schoolchildren, but they were all great. now to eat. that'll be short because we didn't get much because it was so late. we both got burgers and they were delicious. I got the nacho crunch burger and my wife got cct old fashioned burger and she loved it. she said the CCT sauce mixed with arugula was amazing. her side was mac and cheese and it was pleasant. I just needed a little more season. I have a side of pommes and I have to admit the pommes were underwhelming. but I would definitely go back if I went back to the city of alpharetta because they would like to try some great menu elements.

We frequent often because we live so close. Most times I love it. It's a fun atmosphere. Great mix of indoor and outdoor. Food is pretty consistent. Our fav bartender is Michael! He remembers you and is always cheerful. As for the other bartenders......you can tell they don't like being there. They are smug, not friendly and not personable at all. If you're lucky enough for them to take your order, you'll feel like you've made them mad. During the week, trivia and music bingo are really fun. Friendly reminder to return the pen to the bingo guy in a timely manner. Cause boy, he's coming to get it if you don't! Lol!

Central City Tavern is overpriced and underwhelming, it took forever to be seated even though the place was two thirds empty. If the hostess gives you an opportunity to leave due to a long wait take it, she's doing you a favor. McDonald’s does a better job for one-tenth of the price

Food was ok, but the cockroach flying and landing next to us was a deal breaker. Won’t be going back
