Dishes like El Gaucho Veracruz and Chihuahua are served in a generic brown sauce, and the enchiladas are practically impossible to cut. The service is slow, even when the restaurant is empty. On a brighter note, there are usually plenty of parking spaces available, even on Saturday evenings.
We have visited two different locations of the El Azteca chain and found the food to be akin to a tasteless frozen TV dinner. Dishes with names like El Gaucho Veracruz and Chihuahua are drenched in a generic brown sauce, and the enchiladas are indistinguishable from the flautas. The service is slow, even when the restaurant is, as expected, empty. On the bright side, there is always ample parking available, even on Saturday nights.
