My man and I went home from a jubilee weekend in terlingua. we tried to find out where we were going to eat and had to get out of that when we saw the names, come and take it bbq I'm so glad we did it! the service was incredible, very friendly staff, and eating was great. we picked up some T-shirts and we plan to stop it when we're in the opposite.

We were very happy to find this place while making a google search for Alpine restaurants. We had no plans to go, but since our train returning to San Antonio was delayed we decided to look for local barbecue. We consider this place a lucky find. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the location was very clean. Outside the dining room, on the back porch, is a nice outdoor area with unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains. It was great place for an afternoon drink from their full bar. An added bonus was live music that evening, volume appropriate for a restaurant. Hardened and Tempered, a talented group of folk musicians and vocalists, was the featured entertainment. We loved their music and stayed around for another drink while listening through a third set. The time we were there (mid February 2019) was off-season, but the Come and Get It Restaurant put on their best. I recommend it.
