Alattio - Alta

Visiting from Australia had great beer, pizza, pasta, risotto and topped of with great deserts the chocolate cake was excellent. Service was excellent and the orders were quickly served. I would recommend this restaurant to all visitors who want quick service and good food.

Amazing service first and foremost in a full resturant! and we asked for a special menu to from the chef, and if he had time to in a really busy night to give us a full tasting menu, and he did not even think. Instantly yes, and the food was SIMPLY OUT OF THIS WORLD. We even had to italians with us and it was like coming home but with a touch of the north in the food! My personal favorite was the reindeer pasta but the Risotto, holy moly!

What a great restaurant with an awesome crew. Everyone was super helpful when we showed up with a large group. The food is good and service was quick. We enjoyed the whole experience.

Excellent dinner here in Alta, Norway at Alattio! We all had the Faccocia and Aubergine appetizers and the Reindeer Ragu. The Faccocia wasn't a typical Italian Facoccia, it seemed like their pizza dough without the pizza toppings, but it was still delicious. The Aubergine was one of my favorites as was the Reindeer Ragu. The Reindeer Ragu was a little too salty for my taste, but the pasta was cooked perfectly and after adding some additional fresh ground black pepper, it was still excellent. To top of the experience here is the DESSERT! It was absolutely out of this world and not was I expected in a small city in the arctic. I can't believe I get to say some of the best chocolate cake I've had was here in Alta, Norway, haha. Get the chocolate cake! It's pretty dense, but it's made by their chocolatier, so it is fantastic. As is their Panna Cotta with local cloudberry. Our service was fantastic. I believe the owner ? kept checking in on us and had wonderful jokes. Our waitress was also extremely attentive and sweet. We loved our meal here and when we're back in Alta, we'll be coming back!

Despite the fact that the food was great and really flavorful, the service and atmosphere ruined it entirely. The restaurant was dirty and dusty, and the toilet was disgustingly smelly. And to top it all off, the maitre d's humour and jokes were just lame, pathetic and straight up cringy.
