Bay Club Altea

The Bay Club is a cornerstone in our restaurant circuit when we are in Spain the Bay Club chicken salad is still one of the best chicken salads around and their steaks are divine. The service is a little up and down and the dress code can be a little off if you have an early dinner as the yacht crowd there fresh from the sunbathing and wearing almost nothing call me old-fashioned, but I don't really want to see that bikini floors disappear an arse while I chew. Maybe this would be a bonus for some? At any rate there is always good food to have, and the weekends there is usually a DJ that adds to the buzz (he is a player of melodies, not a conversation that is good). There is something for every palate including a few options for children, but it is never a cheap night out of the steaks are up from 25 € and the mentioned salad is 16 € (I remember when it was 12 € just before the lockdown and the chicken stables are now smaller). It is the location of what it really sells and you will fight to find a yacht club/beach location as beautifully placed.

We had a lovely lunch this afternoon...the bartenders were friendly and offered us very nice food. We had the oysters, shrimps, tuna and mossels guided by a lovely sauvignon blanc. Everything was delicious and slightly different/more special than elsewhere. In the meanwhile we enjoyed the beautiful view over the harbour and sea. Thanks a lot

The food was excellent as usual. Service great, very attentive. We will come back

We had a very pleasant late afternoon here with really nice food and a great view. The Aubergine with Humus was a great find. The staff was very attentive. Thank you.
