The bottom line is that not everyone uses Facebook to check hours of operation; I don’t, as I deleted my account years ago. I believe management should ensure that your website is updated with the correct information. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have a sign for the Birch Bar or restaurant at the entrance instead of just directing people to the lodges. To say I was frustrated and annoyed by the experience would be an understatement.

With its lovely atmosphere and attentive service, this restaurant is a hidden gem. We kicked off our meal with expertly crafted cocktails that were also priced fairly. I chose the French onion soup and a lobster roll platter for my main course, which came with a generous portion of piping hot sweet potato fries for an additional $2.00. The serving was so large that I had to ask my husband to share the fries with me. The lobster roll was delicious and was complemented by a small dish of pickled carrots and cucumbers. Our waitress, Gabby, was quite busy but made sure to check in on us regularly to ensure we were satisfied. Overall, it’s a fantastic find in the rural area of Oswego County.

We had a fantastic meal today! For lunch, we enjoyed the lobster roll, quesadillas, and an Angus burger. While everything was very tasty, the lobster roll truly stood out as exceptional. The atmosphere was lovely, reminiscent of an upscale hunting lodge. Our waitress, Michelle, provided excellent service. To top it all off, we indulged in a slice of carrot cake that we absolutely must have again. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. This is definitely a corner of upstate we should visit more frequently!
