Duke Bakery - Alton

This restaurant in Alton, Illinois is one of the most racist establishments I have ever experienced. Even young girls, who seem barely old enough to work, routinely exhibit racist behavior.

This restaurant never fails to impress! The enticing aromas will draw you in, and the food tastes as delicious as it looks. The atmosphere is charming, and the staff is very friendly.

While visiting, we couldn't resist trying the butter cake and Duke ordered it.

Duke?s saved the day! My other bakery cancelled on me last minute and Duke?s was able to make me these super cute cat cupcakes with two days notice! I?m in love. Thank you!

The chocolate chip cookies were sort of stale and tasted freezer burned.It seemed like they were bought elsewhere and not baked by Dukes at all. Definitely not up to what used to be Dukes standards. This is the 3rd time I've tried these cookies recentlytrying to give them a chance to redeem themselves. They just aren't good. Please go back to making them in house again!! Or goback to the old recipe.
