Old Bakery Beer - Alton

The only reason this place gets one star is that they had reasonable activities for kids, like coloring books and blocks. Other than that anything is that was interesting to order they ran out of. Out was out to celebrate my anniversary waited over an hour for food to find out the “kitchen” never got the ticket. Highly disappointed in this establishment, will not be returning.

They have really good beer and a pretty good selection of bar food. I only gave a 3 on service because you order at the bar. Not much service required. No wait also.

Stopped in at The Old Bakery for a beer and lunch. Darius helped me find an outstanding Citrus Wheat beer and the fish meal I got was excellent.

Finally came through Alton at a time we could stop by and try Old Bakery. My husband was most excited about an English style ESB and I was pleasantly surprised by their lemon lime seltzer. Thursdays are pizza nights and they have unique specials and can pretty much make up any other flavor you want. Tonight we had one with Gouda, bacon, apples and balsamic vinegar. The main parking is opposite of the bar, so you get a surprise tour just walking through! We’ll be back for sure.

The 7th anniversary bourbon barrel stout was amazing,also food and amostohere,was delicious and inviting,will definitely be back to try other beer and menu items.
