I highly recommend taking a scenic drive through the Meon Valley. I always celebrate my birthday here with friends. The pub has a charming old-world ambiance in a beautiful location, and the home-cooked food is delicious. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5.

A lovely pub in Chawton. With its own dedicated gluten free menu. I had the mushroom pie, it was really delicious followed by a very tasty gluten free brownie. The service was excellent but I'm only giving 3 stars because staff failed to tell us of the Friday night special that if you buy two mains you can get a bottle of wine for free. We only found out at the end of the meal when seeing it on the back of a card on our table. As we were leaving they did not agree to give us the bottle of wine that was rightfully ours.
