Logan's Roadhouse - Amarillo

When I first walked in the hostess was away for a moment and there was another individual standing at the counter. She didn't greet, make eye contact or acknowledge us when we walked in. We ordered 3 appetizers, fried mushrooms being 1 of them. The batter was great, they just were not crispy..kinda soft, it was like a tempura batter served with horseradish. My steak was great, I also had a Caesar salad, I'm not a huge fan of shredded parm unless it's freshly grated. It was really dry kinda hard. I took my dad out to dinner and he had the chopped steak, it was a hamburger patty on top of a small amount of potatoes.

We had the most amazing young lady named Catara waiting on us!!!! We were seated in a booth in the bar area right at the front, they asked if we minded being seated on the other side, not sure why, there were absolutely no other customers in there, just 3 or 4 girls talking and playing on their phones!!!I’m so thankful they moved us, Catara was just delightful and kept smiling the whole time!The food was ok, my baked potato had to be sent back because it was not done, my friends sweet potato had to be sent back because it was burnt!!!Thanks Catara for making this experience so much better than it started out being!!!!You’re an amazing young lady!!!!!

We stopped in around 820pm on 7/4. I realize it was a holiday but when we arrived there were 3 familes there and we were one of them. We ordered 2 kids meals and they were fine. I ordered the crab cakes meal and my husband ordered the beef tips. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food. When both our plates came out the rice was crunchy like it had been sitting there ALL day. Why would they even serve it...it wasn't edible. Our server checked to see what was available and fresh. He came back in 5 minutes and gave options. We both said sweet potato. Another 10 minutes passed and nope, suddenly not available. I then asked for a baked potato and my husband asked for dessert. I also ordered peach cobbler and while they smeared sauce on top, it was still Luke warm and gross. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig. Best part of the night was our server Ryan. He was very kind, accommodating and quite apologetic. I wasn't going to post this but one of my kids left their mask and I went to retrieve it. I begin to quickly tell the manager and he just said hmmmm. No apology he just swore there was a manager there last night and said hmmm. Perhaps i should have asked but wed been driving all night and we all were exhausted. Maybe they're accustomed to complaints hence the 3.6 rating. Do yourself a favor and go to Saltgrass next door. That was our our original plan and my husband should have listened to me!!!!

Went in with a group of 12 people around 8pm and they put tables together and seated us. Waiter took our drink orders and it went down hill from there. I called up front from my phone and asked to speak with the manager, he showed up I then stated to him that he had sat our waiter up for failure and I had to tell him to get him some help he then had three other workers come out and help him. Which I should have not had to bring that to his attention could be wrong. As we are leaving I see the manager working the bar, a little heads up we are just as important then the ones at the bar.. Please pay attention to the whole restaurant....

There was a 30 minute wait an the restaurant was not even half full so we set at the bar and my friend received a drink immediately while I did not receive my drink until we were sat at a table. Our waitress then came took our appetizer order and we never saw her again for an hour our appetizer was brought out thrown on the plate not at all what we ordered mind you we saw our waitress 4 times check on the 2 tables in front of us but never once came to check on us or ask how the appetizer was was everything all right do we need anything finally had to speak with a manager in regards to the service or like thereof
