Cafe G - Amber Valley

Came randomly over this place, not recognizing it was a Turkish running caffe. I myself, woman and my 75 year old mother all choose shish kebabs my mamas first lol. we loved her and could have the best kebab I ever had. the dame was in writing...loving along the side of the owners ignore the negative reviews and make them their own mind on

My partner and I went to the café g, hoping to enjoy a relaxed lunch. it started as we liked the unique aesthetic and especially the beautiful tables, and still expected to have a nice time overall, even after the waiting staff was rather unhelpful...and rude when we use our order and drinks. when the food came, the waitress announced the first meal as flatbread and put it on the side of my partner, at which we pointed out that we had asked her without a cheese and demanded a replacement. next we knew that the cook asked loudly who ordered them, then repeated this demand several times until I reacted. not satisfied with knowing what table we were, he then continued aggressively who ordered this, her or her, which I naturally found threatening and confusing. it turned out that our meal times were properly prepared, but the waitress had given my partner my meal (which should be on it.) the cook seemed to think that the best way to deal with this simple error was to defeat us and repeatedly say that we would get what we have ordered, with a shielding glare next to the waitress that was made young at one point someone gave me another meal (I don't know who, when I concentrated on the man who yelled at me) who put him out of the screaming that gave you what at least the scene gives an element of the komödi farce. early in the conversation I said that I felt he was aggressiv, what he ignored and until the whole caffe stared and my friend was in drinking. after that he came to the table where she was still crying, and showed no concern or sympathy refused that he was aggressive because all my masters say that I am very soft, then he explained that he went until we were calmed. none of the other employees have intervened, apologised or verified that we were in order, although I am not inclined to be responsible for them, as many are young and I suspect that they are based on the things they said and other reviews that he proposed about a culture of fear and feared to say something. I really have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars on tripadvisor, I suspect that some of these reviews are fake, but of nature that is hard to prove. what I have noticed is that the owner often comes here to argue with criticle what I think is proof of his defense and total lack of professionalism. I would say that very rarely about any business, but I really hope that the caffe g goes down, so that no one else has to be treated in a wise way that no one should ever be in every walk of life, let alone as a paying customer on what should be a relaxing day out. P.S. other one-star reviews are as similar to ours that it seems to lose verbal, then they gasse by loudly claim that all others love him, is a regular routine for the cook. shameful.

Waited for over 30 minutes to breakfast before I asked to personal and gave straight to the end and left, space was practically empty and staff gave no notice on how long service would take.

After 40 minutes waiting for the breakfast, gave up and got a refund, ordering tee with eating go, stone cold to the time that did not arrive, getting angry excuse for lateness of food offered and asking if I could hang for another 5 minutes. I'd just jump in for a quick feed, but losing a buck of my morning will not go back.

It's open but wish it was closed ! Was warned about 35minte delay but they failed to mention the breakfast would be cold . Dont mind waiting but expect hot food. Appreciate it was a busy day but no excuses . Don't go in the...kitchen if you can't stand the heat ! Not a great atmosphere as managers or chef was shouting at staff ... No.sign of Gordon Ramsey When we mentioned to the lad serving it was cold all he said was sorry a microwave would have sorted it out.
