Wallabys Smokehouse - American Fork

The service was outstanding—it's clear that this location is exceptionally well managed. The staff was friendly, attentive, and thorough; I’d give them five stars. The food was also quite good. I ordered the two-meat plate with pulled pork and brisket. Both were tasty, but not the best I've had. The pork was a bit on the cold side, and there wasn’t a lean or marbled option for the brisket. As for the sides, I tried the creamy corn and the spicy mac and cheese. The creamy corn was almost flavorless, but the spicy mac and cheese was fantastic.

We used a voucher that provided us with two one-meat plates for $22. Each plate included two sides and a roll. There was also a shared dessert option, and we chose the massive cinnamon roll. The portions of meat were generous, and we were able to take the leftovers home. The service was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely go back!

I'm thrilled to see Wallabys opening in American Fork, taking over the old Applebee's location—thank you for that! I've loved this family-owned Australian BBQ for over 10 years. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my personal favorite is the Tri-Tip Steak paired with potatoes and their macaroni. They offer a fantastic deal on tri-tip every Tuesday, which is definitely worth checking out! A 3-meat plate typically costs around $15.99, but with the addition of brisket and tri-tip, it comes to about $20—totally worth it! Plus, they’ve set up TVs for game day, which is a nice touch.

Ordered the Mac and cheese, potatoes and brisket. I love Mac and cheese not usually from restaurants, but Wallabys is really good! The potatoes were delicious. I like to smoke my own brisket, but I like Wallaby's brisket. It has a good taste.

I was looking forward to a 5 star review, since I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it, but I can’t say I had a 5 star experience. The door on the parking lot sticks a bit when opening it and I lost a year of my life when the door slammed shut behind me. I needed to use the bathroom when I got there so I went there first. In the first stall I tried, the door was sagging and I could not lift it up to latch it so I went to the next one. You guys, the door opens so close to the bowl I had to straddle the toilet to open and shut the door! Only one of the two sinks works well. I can’t judge the facilities too harshly though; I mean the place used to be an Applebee’s
