Dairy Queen Store - Ames

Unable to order inside and read the menu items and prices. Drive thru was open, but not able to understand the menu, therefore it was difficult to order. For the 2 of us, it cost $37.17. I was shocked!

If you're looking for a tasty and fresh lunch in North Ames, this is the place to go! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the burger was hot and fresh. The service was incredibly cheerful, which made the experience even more enjoyable!

This is definitely the best Dairy Queen around! I do miss a girl who used to work here, though; her name was Sage, and she was really friendly.

I visited the drive-thru on my motorcycle and politely requested that everything be packed in a to-go bag or box. When I reached the window, they tried to hand me the drinks without lids or a bag. I asked for a bag once more, and after a few minutes, they finally put everything in a bag. However, they then attempted to give me the chicken tenders on a styrofoam plate. I asked again for it to be placed in a bag. A little later, I received a bag, but everything was crammed into two cups that were way too full. I felt bad asking them to repackage it, so I decided to leave, but as soon as I did, the bottom broke, and half my meal spilled out. I give up—this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Dairy Queen.
