Chinese Vietnamese Buffalo Style. Red Pepper on Maple is a busy Chinese Vietnamese American restaurant. The front of the restaurant is a bit tired and shabby but that describes most of Buffalo! The service was quick and polite.We stopped in recently for a quick lunch and enjoyed the Spring rolls and Vietnamese pancake for lunch. If you like to eat vegetarian get the pancake with beansprouts only.

Spring rolls A friend of mine recommended this Asian fusion restaurant Red Pepper on Maple Rd in Buffalo. We were in the mood for a quick but tasty lunch to celebrate the last day of class in the spring semester so we stopped in. Front of this restaurant is a bit tired and shabby but that describes most of Buffalo so I let that go. I don't often eat Chinese American food and I don't usually find satisfaction in the little inexpensive Chinese restaurants that are on every corner through out America you know the places where you stop in for a quick fix of Sweet and Sour Chicken with a side of fried rice. Fried wontons at Red Pepper But Chinese Vietnamese interested me so I tried it I liked the spring rolls.  Fried wontons were a bit greasy but they are fried! We split the Vietnamese pancake with shrimp, pork and bean sprouts.  We liked it was a bit bland and we splashed it with soy sauce. I will probably stop in again at Red Pepper I want to try their pho!

Great Chinese food and great prices! I have only had the Vietnamese once and it was good. The service is always quick, I live about a half hour away and will drive there just for Chinese take out, the best in the area!

Great food!. I love red pepper and go almost every week! Fast staff and great food. The place is small so you may have a wait. Very small parking lot too.

Great place!. We've enjoyed eating at the Red Pepper for years. Its owner, Martin, is a very nice guy and his food is delicious. Our favorites include Garlic Eggplant, Beef with Green Beans, and the Vietnamese Bun Bowls. This is a popular place, so you might want to make reservations beforehand. We often take guests here, and we have never been disappointed.
