Snyder Grill - Amherst

A nice little neighborhood bar and grill with a dart board and a shuffleboard table. Great fish fry and fish tacos on Fridays. Always a comfortable atmosphere and kids are welcome. It is a regular stop for our family and when we have guests.

This is an excellent neighborhood bar with fantastic staff and an attentive owner. The prices are reasonable, and the food is superb. They serve the best wings in town—definitely give the "Cajun, extra crispy" a try!

I used to visit this place a lot during my drinking days, between the ages of 18 and 28, and I'm 50 now. I stopped by for some wings and a beer recently. Hillary, the bartender, made me feel right at home and took my wing order right away. I had a few drafts of Molson Canadian, about three I think, and watched a college hockey game that was great; the crowd was lively and fun. Once that game ended, Hillary quickly switched the TV to the NCAA basketball tournament—great job, Hillary! The wings arrived promptly, steaming hot, crispy, and perfectly sauced. They were delicious! I really like this place and might become a regular again if they'll have me back.

I've been a patron of SB&G since it was originally Loughran's and then The First Place. I had never tried the Cajun wings until this past Friday night, and now I can’t stop thinking about them—I need to return ASAP for more! The food and service are consistently excellent. It’s a great neighborhood bar and restaurant, locally owned. They also have a fantastic Friday fish fry!

Another gem in Snyder, SBG is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts. The wings are impressive as well. There's just something delightful about SBG, and I believe it has to do with the acoustics. Many restaurants struggle with poor sound quality, making you feel like you have to shout to communicate with those beside you. This charming corner bar captures the true essence of Buffalo atmosphere.
