Rosa's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Had take out here the family pasta dinner very reasonably priced. Included garlic bread and we also added a Caesar Salad with a side order of meatballs. They provided all of the plates and utensils and we dinned at a local park. Would go back anytime enjoy.

I have ordered from Rosa's several times in the past and loved it. But over the past 1.5 years every time I have ordered it has been complete garbage! Also everyone who has ever answered the phone is completely rude has no communication skills. Ordered chicken Ital- the Garlic was still raw and all you could takes was pure white wine! Called they said sorry and offered my 10 percent off the next meal. Used the 10 percent what a waste again! Ordered a family pasta and a large salad. Our salad came with literally a handful of brown lettuce. No joke, I have my husband and mother in law to Contest to this. Ok let's give them one more shot.... ordered a pizza, pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms and olives. The pizza came covered in green peppers I have kids here who hate them. Picked them off the pizza. They did offer me a free pizza which I did order and it was ok. Barely any sauce. I'm done ordering through Rosa's FYI Ricardo's does take out :)

After working in the yard all day we decided we would just order out. The pizza we ordered was delivered promptly, and that was the only good point Rosa's got. Opening the box you couldn't help but notice there was quite a significant difference in the pizza slices. Some top crust pieces were over an inch thick, while others were thin crust. Now, this in itself wouldn't be bad, but since the thick crust was not cooked throughly, it was inedible. It was literally raw inside. There were some wide pieces and some thin slices. Who does not know how to cut a pizza? Now, to the point...where in the world was the sauce? We both pulled up the "Goodies" trying to locate any sauce...to no avail.Speaking of "goodies" why would anyone julienne pepperoni to the point you can't taste it? Must come bulk frozen. Pepperoini should look like that! Bottom line, terrible pizza. Called to talk to the manager about the disappointing pizza and left a message for him to call back. We wanted to tell him on a personal level, but we never heard back from him. So, we decided just to share our thoughts here. 25 years here in the Burg and since Rosa's moved it has lost its appeal.What we did enjoy about the pizza was watching the birds outside fight over it.

The food was fresh and hot, and very generous with the portions. Had the veal parm with rotini meat sauce, very tasty. Haven't dined in their restaurant yet but certainly will return to order out again. Just wish we could get the $2 off coupon on our phone. Said had to print it and bring it in, they should be up to date on technology.

Great place too eat. Food is great and not too expensive either. Nice and clean, easy access. Waitressess are fast and friendly. Choice on menu offers more than just pizza.
