We were last night in gatehouse, we had an excellent meal in restaurant that was eating 5 stars all staff are beautiful and very welcoming, our accommodation was nice to very comfortable nights sleep and dogs are very welcome, breakfast was excellent with beautiful toast and local fresh products, very recommend stay here very good thank you xx

I recently got married at The Lastra Farm Hotel and Restaurant, my partner and I struggled to find somewhere we both liked that would suit the elegant and intimate wedding we were trying to create. We were both blown away by The Lastra, with its picturesque views, homely and elegant feel, and amazing staff. The options available to us to personalise our wedding were endless, the service was beyond outstanding, and the food was divine, heavenly....I can't stop raving about the food!!! We couldn't have found a better place to get married in and spend our wedding night. We will certainly be back many times to feast ourselves on the superb food and drinks, and to enjoy the terrific service.

Nice, very friendly place. Great food and very good beer. Made my burger how I wanted it, no cheese and bacon.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday tonight...20 people...fantastic food, great service and Elaine and staff decorated our table and bought the surprise cake out....cant thank you all enough.....amazing....thank you xxx

Fabulous food and the accommodation is really lovely. The staff are always welcoming no matter how busy they are.
