Black Sheep - Anaheim

When I tell you that the K-melt was the best grilled cheese in the Black Sheep I ever had in my life. I had it with Jalapeños, because I'm not a fan of sharp, but my brother had it with the Jalapeño and we both destroyed these sandwiches. It was grilled with perfection, and so tasteful it would make you want to sing and dance it was so good. I'll be back! 10 out of 10 would recommend everyone and they mama!

The #10 grilled cheese sandwich was spectacular. If you think grill cheese is just a simple bread and cheese sandwich, you're wrong. The Black Sheep Grill Cheese Bar takes grilled cheese to another level. The bread was perfectly roasted with a healthy portion of meat and cheese to let your taste buds jump for pleasure. The menu features nine different grilled cheese sandwiches along with a special, with prices averaging around $8. You can also add a side of tomato soup or chips for an additional $3. I ordered the #6 sandwich, which comes with sharp cheddar and Swiss cheese, while my husband went for their specialty—the Hot Chick, made with habanero jack cheese, caramelized onions, and cilantro lemon cream chicken. Unfortunately, I wanted the tomato soup to go with my grilled cheese, but they were out of it, which was disappointing since it was also close to closing time. I did, however, get to try my husband's beer. My grilled cheese was perfectly toasted on the outside and wonderfully melty on the inside. Even without the soup, it was delightful, but I think I’ll have to return to try another grilled cheese with the soup. My husband enjoyed his Hot Chick sandwich, though he found the flavors a bit too sharp for his taste. Overall, we had a lovely experience, and the service was excellent. I didn’t catch the name of the person who took our order, but he was friendly and attentive. We would definitely come back!

The funny, delicious grilled cheese sandwich! I had the hot mess and it was so delicious.

I just finished eating the goat cheese, roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, and arugula pesto sandwich. It was very good, and had tons of flavor. It seems a little expensive to me, but the service was great, so I'm okay with that. I do want to come back and try a different one.
