California Fish Grill - Anaheim

I literally went a mile from my hotel to try this place, and it was totally worth it. Under a Cue from a previous review, I tried the dynamite shrimp bowl over white rice with a premium side of corn and a cup Strawberry mint lemonade. $17. I'm on a work trip, so I have leftovers now, but if my wife in town with me would have been the perfect meal to share. The crack of fried shrimp was a perfect balance against the smooth texture of rice and sauce. The sauce was a bit sharp on my personal taste, but not on every bite. The corn had a pleasant smoked taste. First week in March, so it was a cool night to enjoy a beautiful walk along the illuminated palms of the road, and a perfect end to a long day of travel. If time allowed, I will return to try a few different options. The staff were welcoming and the outside seats were not overcrowded. The large trays offer plenty of space to do everything. We waited quite a while for our food. The dishes we ordered were fresh and tasty. The seasoning on the shrimp was just right.

My New Favorite place to eat! The restaurant is nice good vibes. The food is delicious refreshing and not so heavy. Ricardo was such a great help with the food suggestions and had great customer service skills. I got an order of the Spicy shrimp bowl, grilled elote , and coconut shrimp. The servings were perfectly portioned and the shrimp were a good size and cooked perfect not dry at all. My favorite appetizer was the corn so good mixed well with cilantro and green onion. The coconut shrimp breading was slightly over cooked but delicious and the side sauce complimentes it very well. Definitely will be back to try other entrées.

We had the shrimp bowl, salmon bowl, and kids chicken meal. Great stuff all around. Fresh and tasty. You feel like you just had a good healthy meal. Reasonable prices too. Plenty sitting area. Two thumbs up!!

California Fish Grill is a great place for lunch! Fresh food and great service. Shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and their Poke bowls, absolutely amazing!! Everything very savory and delicious. Highly recommend stopping by if in the area!
