Bidra med feedbackI spent an entire day at the Disneyland Hotel in preparation for the runDisney 5K event. The runDisney Health and Fitness Expo is held at the hotel, where you collect your racing bib and t-shirt. I really enjoyed the Disney-themed decorations, artwork, dining options, and the gift shop while I was there. This year, Disney is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and the decorations to mark this occasion were everywhere. In the lobby, there's an old Autopia car where you can take a photo. The expo was quite crowded, so we decided to eat at the hotel before heading to Downtown Disney. They had a snack area where we indulged in some Mickey Pretzels, and later, we grabbed coffee at the Coffee House and enjoyed lunch at Goofy's Kitchen. There’s so much to see and do at the Disneyland Hotel, which opened around the same time as Disneyland in 1955, making it the first hotel to carry the Disney name. Since Disney took ownership of the hotel in the late '80s, it has undergone several renovations. The Disneyland Hotel features over 900 rooms and is within walking distance of Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. For recreation, it boasts a pool with cabanas and a fitness center. If you’re feeling hungry, there are plenty of dining options inside the hotel, or you can easily walk over to the Downtown Disney district.
This hotel is a fantastic luxury option, especially if you're staying in the DVC tower. The rooms are stunning and contemporary, with an exceptional shower and incredibly comfortable beds. The DVC pool features a charming Mickey Splash Pad that kids will love! The price reflects the convenience of its proximity to Downtown Disney. The customer service is outstanding. Be sure to try the Dole Whip at the bar by the pools!
What an amazing hotel! As frequent visitors to Disneyland, we found this hotel to be the best one we've ever stayed at for our trips to the park. The location was excellent, and the rates were reasonable, making it a great option for our family. Every aspect, from the decor to the service, met the high standards you’d expect from Disney. It was delightful to remain immersed in the Disney atmosphere even after leaving the parks for the day. The water park was fantastic! My 16-month-old had a blast in the splash pad area, while my 5-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the slides, pools, and hot tubs! The highlight was meeting some Disney characters at Goofy's Kitchen and dining by the tiki torches at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone! We plan to return for all our future trips to Disneyland!
This particular hotel has always been on my list of places I've wanted to stay. I'd read reviews and they were all over the place, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived for check in full of excitement, wonder and awe over the magic that Disney creates the moment you set foot on the grounds. The welcoming entrance with friendly, uniformed bellmen was stunning. Our check-in experience was absolutely fabulous, our room even got upgraded. We were a deluxe room in the Adventure Tower with splendid views of the pool and other resort buildings. Our stay was five days long, so we also got to experience the exceptional housekeeping staff and never needed to request a single item, as everything was always fully stocked. The attention to detail is fabulous; from the firework carpet to the Mickey Mouse lighting, the entire experience was absolutely magical. The pool staff was also very attentive and even though there were many families in the water, it never felt too loud or bothersome. While the main reason for the visit was a work conference for my spouse, it was also our first trip to Disney as empty nesters and was a wonderful start to our summer. I cannot wait to stay here again!
I had the honor of helping an out of town guest get her affairs in order so that she can take her granddaughter to Disneyland. She came to me frazzled (I just happened to be finishing breakfast with my own family heading g over to the theme parks as well. Long story short, the grandmother came to me asking me for help. I could only do so much. We stepped into the Disneyland Hotel and asked the front desk for help. Brandon and Brett were so very helpful and I was happy to be a Southerner Californian and witness these two awesome guys help this lady give her granddaughter an amazing Disney Day. Bravo guys! Great job Disneyland Hotel for having such great staff!
