Bidra med feedbackThe breakfast at Storytellers was great. $158 for three adults (9 and below are children who are cut a little low for when you ask me). The characters come by and say hello for a few seconds, but usually let you eat unless you ask them specifically for a photo or interact with them. Buffet includes eggs, breakfast potatoes, eggs Benedict, bacon, sausage, mickey waffle, pancakes, fruit, croissants, pastries, muffins, ham, omelet bar, yogurt, bagels, muesli. The food was fresh and delicious. The server refilled our drinks when they were done halfway, which meant that I never went thirst. We went at 7:10 and had the place quite for ourselves. It filled when we left at 8:30. If you want to get in for early entry and eat, I would book the first opening at 7 a.m. They serve themselves so that you can easily eat a large platelet and fill up until 7:30. I felt it was worth the money and would do it again.
We could meet and welcome photos with 5 different Disney characters on our visit: Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale Pluto. Friendly staff and good food. A bit expensive for the buffet menu options, especially if you are not a big eater.
Since the decommissioning we were not at the buffet, and the interactions between ambience and character were average. The restaurant itself is beautiful. 2 or 3 out at a time, but we sat on a pm and were greeted by only 2 at the end of our culinary experience. The selection of food was good, but the breakfast stuff was actually just fried perpetrators, which was quite disappointing. In the past, they served delicious fresh potatoes that were seasoned. The mini-desserts were tasty, but they ran right after the time when we settled from about half of them, and they were not refilled for us late diners. I would recommend a reservation at the latest 12:30 if you were looking for the full experience for Brunch. It was included about $60 per adult with taxes and tip. Dinner costs more.
We finally thought before this trip and booked breakfast at one of the character buffets and I'm so glad we did. The character experience is worth the price so you don't have to stand in the lines to meet them in the park. The characters were all super nice and accommodating. We had EXCELLENT service from our server and its assistant. The food was hit or missed, but there were enough good things that it doesn't matter that the waffles and pancakes were overcooked. Overall, I'm super happy that we finally pulled the trigger and made this experience
I had to try. I normally eat at the Plaza Inn for breakfast and the kid loves it but we decided to try storytellers Cafe and I can tell you I won't be going back to Plaza Inn. The characters are way more playful and cute, the food i a better selection and you don't have to stay at the hotel to eat here. All are wins. If you've been to plaza inn and haven't been here you're missing out. I'm sure this will be your go to if you give them a chance.
