Fat Ptarmigan Closed - Anchorage

The pizza is delicious, but $32 for a vegan pizza is quite pricey.

I had a vegan pizza with a side of balsamic drizzle. Wanted to go back for breakfast and lunch! Will be my go to spot for pizza when visiting anchorage. Would give 5 star if it let me.

The restaurant does not have a separate vegan menu, and customizing a pizza with toppings individually can be expensive. A trick I like to use is to order the Mushroom pizza, but ask for garlic oil instead of garlic cream sauce, and substitute the cheese for a light vegan cheese. This way you can avoid paying extra charges and enjoy a delicious pizza.

I have only tried their pizza a few times, but each time it has been excellent. Although they are a bit expensive, I have always enjoyed the overall experience.

We had made reservations, by open table for Saturday night before a show in pac and when we arrived, we were advised that fat ptarmigan did not record about our or other reservation through open table. I had a copy of our reservation and showed the personal of the writing and they were great, found us a perfect table for 2 near the window. our eating drinks were pleasant and our evening went smoothly from there whatever the problem is to transfer reservations to the individual restaurants, should be checked and repaired as our good experience could have been ruined.
