Organic Oasis - Anchorage

We always stop here when we are in Anchorage. I love all their vegan dishes but the star of the show for me is the salad and the Cesar and Tarragon spirulina dressings (I always get 1 of each) *swoon* A bit bummed they removed the pizza and wheat grass shots from the menu. The smoothies and juices are awesome though!

I tried really hard to like this place but the food was so bland. They need to season better!

I loved how many vegan options there were (they’re well-labeled) and that some of the non-vegan options you could request to veganize. It’s a bit pricey but really tasty food! I got the vegan Reuben with a side of soup and my friends got the Thai tempeh bowl and vegan nachos, everything was great! This place is a solid option for a lighter/healthier meal.

Fresh wheatgrass juice! many vegan choices. some unusual decisions. I had the tempeh ruben and it was filled with homemade sour wort, cheese, wobble, sauce. it was very satisfying and very tasty. there were black bon soup and sweet potato soup and both were excellent.
