Bidra med feedbackI came by recently to do a coffee run for myself and my co-workers. AK Sweet Cup is a coffee hut located on the corner of Muldoon and 16th Ave. just down the road from Fred Meyers going southbound. The employees here have always given me a warm greeting since I started coming down here to pick up drinks in the middle of the work day. The wait times are only a few short minutes especially with cars lined up as they made the smart move of having two baristas when it gets busy. For my most recent visit, I ordered the Iced Dirty Chai Tea with the Spice Blend and a co-worker requested a Raspberry White Mocha with soy milk. The tea was delicious and refreshing with the Spice blend adding an equal balance to the sweetness. My co-worker enjoyed her drink saying that the right amount of Raspberry flavoring was used and enough soy milk to keep from being overly sweet. The specialty coffee drinks change daily from a Marilyn Monroe (coconut, vanilla, and blueberry) to a Nutty Irishman (hazelnut and Irish cream), each available in a latte, mocha, or white mocha. Punch cards are provided for new customers on their first visit with a free drink after 9 punches on the card. This is also one of the few coffee huts that stays open until 7PM from Mon.-Sat., 5PM on Sun. This location was robbed a few months back and I make it a point to visit them as much as I can to show my support for the business and their friendly employees.
Prices on the menu board are 75% of the actual price. I was told the board is from a different shop and was not theirs. my six dollar item turned into an eight dollar item... and then she expected a tip?
First time here the place is fire. The girls that work here are super nice and friendly. Customer service was on point. The coffee was perfect and delicious! This is my new favorite coffee joint!
I was highly dissatisfied with my service. The girl was rude and treated me like I was an inconvenience to her. With the amount of coffeehouses in Anchorage, you do not need to visit this one. Save yourself the gas and money.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. Pulled into this drive-through coffee stand for the first (and last) time on Monday April 3, 2017 at 5:15pm. Ordered one 20 oz latte neat (no flavors), menu indicated $3.75. Exchanged coffee for $5 bill and when I asked for my change, was THEN told I would get no change as they had raised the prices but not yet changed the menu board. The price went up an additional $1.25 extra for a 20 oz. cup of coffee. I paid the $5 but I was ripped off.
