I was completely blown away by Wok Whacked! Normally, I avoid food courts in shopping malls out of habit and disappointment, but after witnessing so many people rave about this place, I decided to give it a try.

I visited AK Wok today based on the recommendations from fellow Yelpers. I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised and really happy to have discovered some excellent fried rice again!

I ordered shrimp fried rice to go, but when I arrived at my next dinner destination, I realized they had given me chicken fried rice instead. Normally, I would check my order, but I was in a hurry this time. However, I shouldn't have to double-check my order. Since I don't eat meat, it was really disappointing to spend $15 on what turned out to be just regular fried rice.

I just spent $35 for two lunches. $3 for Bratreis upgrade? What's going on? I'm hungry five minutes later. The meat was burned by too long cooking in the deep frit. The taste of the sauce was good, only bad food. Bad food, terrible portions, the driver was a nice older man who really doesn't make for the bad food.
