Flying Machine - Anchorage

Love the environment, it was a beautiful day, and the staff was friendly.

The restaurant has some great views of the lakes surrounding the hotel and staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. For this visit we have one of their traditional Alaskan breakfasts, featuring reindeer meats and pancakes and it did not disappointed. You definitely will want to seat by the window as the views to my opinion enhance your breakfast experience. If you’re getting of the plane this is a great place to grab some breakfast since it’s only about 5 minutes form the airport.

I have received the best of service here. Maybe a little on the expensive side and could use a little bit more salt pepper but I think that is a personal preference more than anything else. The food was made perfectly. Temperature ingredients and style. I enjoyed myself I sat there and watch the planes flying in and out on the water and had excellent for new service. I highly recommend eating here to anyone who is in town. Local should come as well.

Service was quick and enjoyed my scramble and coffee. Although cloudy and rainy, I enjoyed the nice view of Lake Hood/Spenard. They have a side coffee shop where you can order your favorite latte or specialty coffee as well.

Loved the street tacos I ordered. They also had a lot of good cocktail choices. I had the Alaskan mojito. We were there on a rainy day, so we didn't get to see many planes coming going.
