Hacienda Mexican - Anchorage

This restaurant offers the best house Margaritas in Alaska, hands down. The service is outstanding, and the food is fantastic. The staff creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place!

This is a quaint and inviting restaurant that I've been frequenting since around 2005. I make it a point to dine here every time I visit Anchorage. The food has always been reliably tasty. The decor has undergone some subtle updates over the years, which has been a positive change. They've managed to modernize the space while retaining its charm. As for parking, the layout of the lot in the mall area can be a bit unusual.

We were seated fairly quickly, but it took a while for our waitress to take our drink orders. By the time she arrived, we were all ready to place our food orders. The food came out quickly, but it didn’t look very appealing. We ordered two fajita plates, but they only provided one set of tortillas. My husband’s tacos were overly greasy, making them uncomfortable to eat. We won’t be returning.

Went in to pick up my delivery order and saw that I was charged more. I verified the price of what I was getting with the person on the phone. When I asked why there was a difference in price the ladies there said the menu in the restaurant is different from their online menu. I asked why didn’t you say that because that’s not what I was told and all she could say was sorry. They told me to pick up my food in five minutes. I was there less than five minutes and still waited 10.

Authentic Mexican food. Outstanding customer service! Staff always very welcoming. One of my favorite restaurant in my neighborhood where I can just walk to from my house. :
