Bidra med feedback2 tips: make your reservation for dinner. We arrived with reservation at 5 to a relatively empty restaurant. By 530, the restaurant got pretty full. They announced they will close by Oct as the owner is retiring. Go before then! We had Oysters, halibut and king crab legs. All were excellent and well executed. Nothing beats very fresh seafood and the best the chef can do is to stay out of the way of freshness! This they did with excellence! Service was so so, efficient bit not warm. Cozy diner environment, got a bit loud as the evening wore on but not too bad. Prices were almost close to SF bay are prices.
Delicious food. Good service. I ordered the halibut and my boyfriend ordered the ribs. It was perfect. The only problem was it was a little loud, but it was a great dinner. The macaroni was pretty fantastic too!
When we arrived, the place was crowded and noisy and seemed more like an after work hangout than a restaurant. However both of our meals (haddock and steak kebabs) were delicious. Dessert peanut butter pie was great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Only late booking available so you end up being one of the last to leave with a feeling that you’re overstaying your welcome surely you should allow at least 90 minutes for a casual dinner before setting chairs on tables
A local recommended Haute to us and we had a reservation on a Wednesday night. The place was packed to the gills and therefore quite loud. Our server Delores was super nice but spread a little thin so it took a while before we got orders in. But once placed, the food came out pretty quickly. And as the evening progressed, it was obvious that Delores is an exceptional server I swear she can read minds! We ordered the following: Girls’ Bread very different but delicious! Blue Cheese salad (shared three ways) very good! Kabobs I had a taste the beef was nicely done and had great flavor. Seafood Pasta wonderful dish, enough for two people, and on the rich side. Dessert peanut butter pie outstanding! The atmosphere is very cool, but as noted earlier, the noise level is kind of high. The only negative was that the two of us that shared the seafood pasta had rumbly in the tummy the next morning so perhaps it was a bit rich for us. The owner is retiring in October and hopefully will find a buyer for this outstanding restaurant before that.
