Bradley House - Anchorage

A warm and welcoming atmosphere, primarily frequented by locals.

We started with the shrimp cocktail and enjoyed a blueberry drop cocktail, which was truly one of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted. I could have easily indulged in several more if I weren’t driving! The food was outstanding as well—large shrimp that were perfectly seasoned, and the beef tacos were absolutely delicious. They had a bit more spice than I’m used to, but they were so good that I couldn't stop eating them. We will definitely be returning many more times!

Was hoping to find a local place to go and enjoy good food. I understand it's a lounge and restaurant but a little too cramped and crowded for me. The manager asked if we had been taken care of yet, and I told him yes. But he never bothered coming back again to check how everything was, even with me trying to get his attention. Ordered Halibut Fish and Chips, I also realize this is Alaska, and prices are higher. But I was very disappointed in portion size, Halibut was delicious, but not enough for the price. The fries would have been the equivalent of a medium Mc Dee's fries again for the price absolutely not enough. Then I watched a table next to me get the same plate I ordered, and it sure seemed to me the portions sizes if Fish and Fries were a whole lot more than what was served to me. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend.

The chicken fried steak was amazing and the service was excellent. For sure go if you're around.

The food was fantastic, but the service really ruined the experience. Our waitress seemed to prioritize everyone else over us. We waited over an hour for our meals, and when we finally finished, we had to request the check and boxes to take our leftovers. Definitely not a great experience!
