The Hawk - Andover

We stayed here overnight between south Devon and home. Room was very well equipped , the media tower would have been a godsend for the business visitor. Beautifully fitted bathroom and we had everything we needed in the room. Really nice atmosphere down in the bar for pre dinner drinks, nice busy buzz. Dinner was very tasty and service was excellent, we had a great evening. Good nights sleep, although mattress a little soft for us, personal preference though. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice and we enjoyed everything. Would certainly stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at The Hawk Inn Amport for three nights whilst visiting family in the Area. Our accommodation was superb. We stayed in The Hawk suite which has a spacious bedroom and a sitting room. The food. Was excellent, and a big thank you from Milo our Golden Retriever to Lisa for his sausages at breakfast every morning. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with Lisa making us feel especially welcome. Food recommendation The Thai Beef salad..... Awesome. Would definitely recommend and will return in the coming months.

During our weekend break in November 2023, we encountered some minor issues upon checking in to our first room at the restaurant. Despite a filthy shower screen and a broken window that wouldn't shut, the staff promptly addressed these issues and we were moved to a new room. We also had to request a mattress protector for the new room. The cleanliness of the bathrooms could be improved. However, we found the bar to be nice, the food to be very good, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the roast dinner on Sunday, which was delicious and generous in portion size. The breakfast selection was good as well. Overall, we had a pleasant stay despite these minor inconveniences.

Stayed here for the night, good food dinner and breakfast, comfortable bed and plenty of hot water what not to like. would recommend.

Enjoyed the views from the lovely terrace at the front. Very drinkable wine and reasonable food. Would come again for the beautiful spot
