La Casona Tex-mex Cantina - Angleton

I visited the new location for the first time last week and I have no plans to return. My friend and I both ordered regular size margaritas, but were given jumbo margaritas without being asked if we wanted that size. We were surprised when we received the bill and saw that the jumbo margarita was $15, the most expensive margarita I have ever had. The margarita was not very tasty. The only good part of the experience was the food I ordered, but it was nothing special or amazing.

Our waiter, Oscar, was fantastic! The food was delectable and we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I went to this restaurant with a big group and ordered the Bonita. It was delicious. The rice, chicken fajita quesadilla, and beef fajita taco were all tasty. The servers did a fantastic job attending to our group. I also loved the salsas that came with the tortilla chips. I highly recommend this place.

New location has dry, overcooked chips everytime I’ve been here. Miss the fresh ones

This was my first time at the new location. The old location had amazing food! The new location has different chips. The beef fajitas were dry and overcooked. The table side guacamole had tablespoon sized chunks of avocado which made it hard to eat. The flour tortillas were cold. The service staff was working very hard and were very professional with great attitudes. The new location has acoustics that make it louder than the old location. I won't be going back.
