Smoothie King - Ankeny

I ordered a smoothie at 8PM and they wrote on it saying Have a good night. :

Tried to order a drink in the restaurant and waited 10 minutes without someone taking my order. Tried the drive through immediately after and was told to wait before they were ready to take my order. 10 minutes later and still no one to take my order. I decided to leave having tried twice unsuccessfully after at least 20 minutes.

Everytime I go there I can never get the smoothie bowl. This has happened 3 times now. I will not be going back. It shouldn't even be on the menu if you never have it. The W desmoines store always has them but I live in Ankeney. Instead the big acai gets my business

Im a regular because they are awesome quality at a fair price and great service

If I could give negative stars I would. Honestly not even sure how this place is in business. I have gone through the drive through and saw people inside and proceeded to try and go inside and the door was locked. I understand short staffing but this is clearly not the issue as you can see staff present. This place clearly needs new ownership and needs to be run by someone who actually manages their staff.
