Cute spot! Loved the Were here, were beer seasonal drink. Very refreshing. Also got the hummus and onion dip app. Hummus was a bit dry with sourdough and would be better with some veggies. Onion dip was really good though. Service was great too!
Quality has gone down hill the last 2 years. On top of the 3% “surcharge” along with the higher than avg pricing, after the last visit 2 of us got sick.
Worst most awkward experience I've ever had in Ann Arbor! I had relatives from out of the country visiting, so I called for reservations a week ahead of time. We came in for dinner and the hostess said they had no reservation for us. I showed them the confirmation text, the reminder text, and the second confirmation text message I'd received for the reservation, and the manager acted as if I had forged them and it was my fault somehow! The hostess wanted us to only sit at a high top table, and with a family member who couldn't safely or comfortably sit in those, I asked for a regular table. They both looked as if I'd run over their cat and begrudgingly put a table together in a back corner. I was going to thank the hostess as she came past but she glared at us and went around to avoid us! I'm absolutely shocked at such weird treatment! I always believe in treating people with respect, these two staff wouldn't even look us in the eye and offered no explanation on why they had no reservation even with proof of reservation. What an embarrassing introduction to Ann Arbor for my family. I'm still so confused and I will not be coming back here or recommending it to anyone I know, it was so odd.
A 3% surcharge added to the bill? Why stop there? Why not 15% or 20% since it is completely arbitrary? Will not frequent establishments that gouge their customers. They just hope you don't bother to read your bill.
